Typography - Garrosh Hellscream

Once again, I return with some very simple animation! This time we delve into the realm of typography, where we make words move!

In this animation, I have taken a short quote from World of Warcraft, where a war chief full of anger and bloodlust spews his hatred as a group of HIGHLY-trained WoW players engages him for an all out brawl. This character is none other than, Garrosh Hellscream.

The animation itself was produced and animated through After Effects, my goal was to make the typography imposing and aggressive, to do this… I made the words of the quote very quick and I added emphasis to words that I personally felt were strong. In the end, we are left with a very fun project!

Orc Animation - Flash

I have returned with an extremely short animation of an Orc attempting to pull a baby murloc, and the extremely strenuous activity eventually leads to the poor guy passing out!

The animation was done through Flash, and even though it is a very short animation, creating it frame-by-frame was time consuming and took a surprisingly long amount of time to complete (at least to where it looked good.)

... and so the group gets together again! This time we have delved into Pixelation for our first official project.

Our project combined the ridiculousness of a "K Drama" with an intense overly dramatic fight scene staged in a field next to our Art building. The entire process was fairly simple despite the fact of attempting to have the same lighting throughout the entire video(we achieved consistent lighting). The most difficult part of attempting Pixelation is holding our composure... staring at someone for a straight 5-minutes with the same expression can become awkward fairly quickly!

Overall, it was a pretty fun experience and it resulted in a fun and silly video!

... and so the ball bounce returns! This time the animation was done through After Effects. I enjoyed using After Effects and was surprised at how simple animation was using the program.
I found myself enjoying creating the environment that the ball would be able to bounce across as well as actually animating it!

With that being said... I give you the space-star-ball-bounce! \m/

First Assignment - Brick breaker(Bouncing ball)

Hey! This is my first project in my Computer animation class at USF.

Our objective was to create a bouncing ball using Stop Motion, with the help of DragonFrame my group and I decided to re-imagine the game Brick breaker as a cool and simple stop motion project!

The gang contained:
Myself: Jorge A.
Ashley B.
Cliff C.
Jolie H.

The outcome held a very fun and simple stop motion version of the frustrating game!
